I tried a pair of JBL 2405 slot tweeters and they clearly had a different sound. Compared to the TAD 4002 compression driver they were harsh, hard, and metallic sounding. The TAD alone is much purer, "faster", and natural. The TAD tweeter is probably much better and may integrate perfectly. I'd like to try a pair some day, the problem is the I'd have to pad the compression driver down to match levels : (. The ribbons do look very interesting. Have you tried either of the TAD tweeters with your round horns?Thanks,
