This relates to my last question:
My interim system sounds OK, using a Fostex FT17H (super tweeter) with a JBL 2445J (heavy, loud, optimised for ~400-4kHz).
I'm using eq to make up for the up the ~10dB lower efficiency of the Fostex.
To move this outdoors, with a smaller (battery powered) amp, I'd like to get more efficient bullet tweeter. I'd also like it to be indestructible, so I can simply leave it there.
Would the B&C DE35 be good for this (since Mylar is unlikely to rust)? Any other suggestions?
