I get the notion that qts may be on the high side - in that case you may have better results from an open baffle

here's H222 in the classic Karlson K15 - again if its motor isn't strong then you won't get the powerful attack of a speaker with lower qts - mids can be good

I've run a P-Audio 15" coax with qts ~0.38 on small open baffle and was satisfied with the "bass"
