RCA-Fan hinted that the geometry of a recent horn build based upon one he had published would have an upper limit somewhat below of what might be achieved with a straight horna scaled University Classic for a 12 would be a nice size, easier to place than a straight midbass - and IF came close to this simple prediction, pretty potent - fill in from bottom -100 with a tapped horn or tapped pipe
would the old Classic scale 0.7 evenly and fit a 12? - would it make it to 600 well enough to put a crossover in that region?
the recent build of a 7 cubic foot horn for a 12" speaker showed response to be much better than an offset driver model would indicate.
