I'm not very familiar with the University Classic but would this 0.7 version horn be approx 28x22x16 ? That would be pretty cool for smaller rooms. One could add a slim & tall tapped horn to do the lower 40-100hz stuff and still have a relatively small footprint.
I'm not sure what you mean by it's "geometry choking off the top". Would you expect this horn to go from 100 to 800hz? If so one could use an Iwata type horn and use it for the 800 & above range. Just a thought.
