My New 414 In 614 With Azura 425 (Long)

VIDEO:Link Below

I experimented with so many arrangements using Altecs 612C, 604-8G, 414, 416, 811, 511 and horns Azura 425, JMLC 325. I even tried OB's. I was happy and experimented with DSP as well. UntilI accidentally created an adaptor and made this

It is a 414 on a 612C cabs with Azura horns using 4th order XO. All hell broke lose after that. It has better midrange than any combo I tried including 604-8G's either on OB or on 612C. Nothing I tried earlier came close to the imaging as well. Bass is a little less than using 416 but not really that much. I listened to this set up for 4 months trying to find out what mistakes I made on the other set ups to justify what I am hearing. My conclusion is that my 22x24 feet room with cathedral ceiling is too small for 15 incher Altecs, because I cannot find anything to blame and already tired of looking. Low listening is superb too! I immediately commissioned Mr. Brian King (Thank you so much Mr. King!!!) to build me a pair of 614 cabs and built my speakers, reading posts from Joseph(JE Labs, and inmate "Salectric") as guidelines.
I had been rolling amps (45, 2A3, 300B, Pentode strapped triodes, Dynaco ST70), even 6V6 amps used in old stereo consoles ever since I completed the speakers and I am happy.

Some of the set ups I tried are below:
604-8G in Original 612C

604-8G in 612C with 511, 802D

604-8G in 612C with 811, 802D

604-8G in OB

612C, 416, JMLC 325 Horns, 288C or 802D

612C, 416,Azura AH 425, 288C or 802D

612C, 416,Azura AH 425, JMLC 325,288C and 802D 16 ohms

Thanks for reading, enjoy the pics!!!
Will listen for months with this set up then play with DSP again and see if I can still improve it.
