Like a short A4 with bass and better imaging a bit on the dark side of neutral but Im used to t500amk2 or t900a on horns. I have listened to them for many hours now very non- fatiguing sound keeps you interested in the music. I have tried 4 amps the 45 SET has its merits but so did all the others so would say not picky on amplification.
