Hi Tom!
I limited it to a 15" coax, because I didn't know of many 18" or larger coaxes. Although I believe to truly answer your question correctly, I would have to hear how the speakers in question would sound when playing the music I listen to, I believe when I drove the right and left speaker with the same signal, I'd prefer a strong dead center phantom over a "wall of sound"! But then why do you ask that question?
