Home High Efficiency Speaker Asylum

Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place.

RE: Starting my JBL 4345 parts gathering.

I have an OEM pair that I restored several years ago. I have two recommendations:

1. Bi-amp only. Don't even bother trying full passive, the difference is huge.

2. If you can swing it, use TAD TD2002 HF beryllium drivers. They drop right in. Big bucks, though and could be retrofitted at a later date, too.

Good luck!
