Michael, thank you very much for your contribution and suggestions to the subject. Yes, i live in Istanbul and Datca (SE Aegean coast town) seasonally. There are some very good audio repair technicians here, so it is possible to do many restorations or modifications.
Your Heathkits seem in great condition, i've heard a lot about them, how easily they drive and how warm and natural they sound. They are also fairly priced because of high production numbers. And that's why i guess, people underestimate their quality. Including myself, many times we evaluate systems biased by price. Thank you for reminding me this beautiful amplifiers, i've totally forgot them as a match to Tannoys. Hope can find a pair in good condition to try.
