electric bass killed a lot of rhythm and tone, round wound string electric bass even more - it was finished off groove-wise with snappy-pop technique and amps with tweeters.I like that era too and the cheap Stereo Fidelity/Somerset label for nostalgia (and pretty good sound too)
don't know that version but Jeff Markwart shows it to be very smooth
