RE: is 5/8" Baltic birch sufficient for RCA-Fan's 70Hz horn?

I like the smaller size and simplicity.

How low would it go sitting on top of subwoofers 60cm to 1 m off the floor in a large room away from walls?

I'm looking more for a mid-bass "hit box" than bass bin.
