Why not do a simple two-way ALTEC A7-800 ? Plans for the early 825, or later 828 enclosures are on WWW. Its HARD to beat Altec woofers, 416 or 515B, and use an 802 on top. KISS rules.
Ohh, be sure to reinforce the curved horn flares, over the stock implementation. Lots of discussion on line, on how to do that.
