I own the KG 4.2 speakers. I like their full bodied but dynamic character, so I use them for mostly for rock music. Not the most transparent sounding speakers around, but they do nail the large dynamic swings and they never sound too bright. These are enjoyable speakers. They sound best when placed within a foot or two of the walls surrounding.
$150 is very fair pricing for a pair in good condition. Bob Crites tweeter upgrade and rebuilt crossover can be part of your upgrade path, should you wish.
