The R2 is a horn bass, the $19 woofers will make noise, but not work properly.
Ditto for the buyout woofers, they look like they are for a reflex design.
The impedance of an R2 is 2.9Ω around 230hz, the woofer inductor is about 0.5Ω, so it looks like they may be using 4Ω drivers.
