I know this is not a pro sound forum but I thought I'd start here because this is where I hang out. I am rebuilding an older 3 way Community R2 series speaker for my son's baseball team and tonight I took the thing apart. After seeing the quality of the drivers I'm not interested in paying the high prices Community wants for replacements. Can anyone here point me in the right direction to locate 2 12" 4 ohm replacement woofers and a 1" format compression driver. The midrange driver is ok. Crossover is ok. Or does it really not matter as long as the impedance is correct and it fits the hole. We're not after audio quality here, but durability.
Thanks,
Jim
