IMO, the best use for flea powered amps is in an active crossover bi-amplified system. Use the flea powered amp to drive a compression drive/horn combo and something else with more power to handle the woofer. Flea powered amps can really shine in this arrangement.

Of course, it's all about compromises. It certainly adds complexity that you may not want.
