I will be "playing" with cheap things for a while to understand a little
Then i will go and hunt for something serious
The big JBL are amazing.
Speaking of 4" diaphragms i read a very interesting article on a pubblic demo of the Everest speakers by JBL
They have a 4" mid if i remember right.
At a certain point they put a blanket covering the tweeter
What was left was felt quite complete by the listeners
I am approching the mid 50 and my ears are now limited to 14-15 kHz ?
If i can get 50-15kHz i am happy ... but i would like to get them with very low distortion.
I am looking for the least distortion and possibly nice efficiency.
To end i am not ready for the serious stuff. I am still playing.
