for the moment thought my 100 to 500 hz horns use 12s and I suspect those would be lots of fun. One of these days ...
My question was not concerning your FC supply as much as wondering if substituting a selenium rectifier for silicon might make for a better sounding low voltage supply? I have read all of the downsides which do not sound all that scary.
Only have found one comment from someone who replaced the selenium rectifier in his DYNACO ST35 (or was it a 70?) and was not happy with the change. Amazing how important the filament circuit can be but those electrons are what is added to amplify the signal.
Thanks for your comments.
