One point that might have been overlooked is the necessity of having the tweeter driver above the mid driver. You need to do so for time align, of course, but not for phase align. If you place the tweeter sled with the HF horn mouth roughly above the MF horn mouth and phase align it what happens is that the HF output leads the MF by a few wavelengths. The subjective result is a bit brighter sound, which one may or may not prefer. You may want to explore both options. My pro-sound two-way horns have the HF leading configuration and they sound better than typical pro-sound two-ways with direct radiating woofers and horn loaded HF horns, where the HF output lags the LF output, resulting in a darker sound.
