Here's a pic. of my restored/modified Mach 1 getting a workout in my main system before being moved to bedroom system teamed up with vintage electronics. I located the modifications in a large thread on the topic of these speakers at Audiokarma, in particular modifications described by member Videolady.
(sitting on old speakers used as stands, not part of mods)
They are surprising good with a big sound and bass capabilities that demonstrate the sad emasculation of so many of today's modern speakers [if not the types that get routinely discussed here]. They are not High Efficiency however so flea-powered SET is not an option.
We have one of the world's best 24/7 Jazz stations here in the Toronto area, Jazz91.1FM, and my bedroom system with the Mach 1's pump a great deal of musical satisfaction.
Mind you they're not up to the level of my Tannoy Arden's in the main system, and kinda puny in comparison (lol) ... but that's another story.
