I recently was at a surplus equipment auction and picked up a pair of 6 foot diameter aluminium light diffusers for a song. Last night I went ahead and pulled my NOS pair of radio shack 40-1197's to put into them. Results are not very WAF but for the garage I think they are going to be perfect. Will update while building if any interst. I plan on building mounts out of wood ala Ferguson Hill FH001 but want to able to move thru a standard door. Sorry about bad pictures it was from my phone cd is to show size of these behemoths.
