With the symptoms you describe (a volume/frequency dependent resonance), the culprit usually winds up being something loose somewhere. You don't mention if you checked the 3 mounting screws for tightness. Also check that the binding posts are tightly mounted to the driver and that they are clean. Following this you could try re-flowing the solder joints inside the T900, but this would involve disassembling it of course. I've fixed similar problems with EV T35's attending to these details, and it's usually something simpler than you expect, and the last thing you think to check. T900's are great tweeters, good luck!
