Madisound sells the Fostex horn you own, did you call them for info?
There might be an issue with dirt in slot where the diaphragm sits, or perhaps there is a gasket/adhesive issue or just a loose screw holding the horn together.
You could investigate.
There are also some videos on YouTube regarding speaker repair, you might consult those before going further.
