I'm using EV SP12B with tweeters in an open baffle.
Your combination should be very similar, I think the 12TRX is the same driver and tweeter just in a coaxial form.
Buy a piece of plywood, cut a couple of 2x4 open baffles and give it a try.
Easy and suprisingly nice.
I also use a Karlson K15 with 15" woofer, and if you can pick up a set of cabinets cheap (watch Craigs list and Ebay)you can make an adapter plate to adjust for the size.
Both are nice, the Karlson goes lower of course.
