But, if you listen to music with peaks in the mid 80's db, which I do a single driver speaker of 93db can be driven quite nicely with a 45 amp. My room is also quite large 24'x 28'It will not however re-produce rock concerts in your home. Nor, will it produce chest thumping bass. But, if you listen to a lot of small jazz trios and female vocals at moderate volumes, the sound is actually more pleasing than my big Horn System.
I also had a pair of Open-baffle PHY-HP Speakers, (Auris by Musical Affairs) that were also rated at 93db and the 45 amp worked well on those as well.
