Most minimonitors are are at least 12 inches high. I think if you found something to your specs, they would not sound very good, even if even they existed.If you want a very nice efficient 93db small speaker, I have a pair of Tekton Design 4.5s that I run easily with my 45 and 2A3 amplifiers. They are 17 inches high however. And they sound fantastic. About 90% of what my big Horn System does. They can be had for a very reasonable $300-$500 for the pair.
Here is a picture of one of my Tekton's in front of a Klipschorn Bass Bin. I have fooled people into thinking the Big Horn System was playing, instead of the little Tekton's
