Alternatives to Altec 811b (with 802-8G)

My system is composed by Altec 802-8G drivers, 811b horns, 414-8C woofers in 614 cabinets, custom 12db crossovers with mundorf capacitors with frequency cut at 1250 Hz.
I would like to improve it and as a first step, someone in this forum suggested me to change the 811b horns.
Well, which type of horn do you suggest to partner with the 802-8G driver?
If the wood horn is the way to go, which projects do you suggest and where can I find plans to built them or where can I buy them?
