High Efficiency Speaker Asylum

Clueless on hi eff speaker suggestions

I'm at a loss on what is out there and what will work in my room (15 X 18, 12 ft ceilings, 1890 Victorian, furniture, hw floors with rug). Can't really do corner horns/loading. Well, corner loading could be possible but that would require some negotiation. Other issue is problem is there is a window at one of the corners.

I want to try 2A3 or 300B SET (build Bottlehead or something else).

Can I get good speakers for $3K or less with medium to great WAF (ie not large Altecs or Klipsch)? What are some options? By "good", I mean comparable to my Devore Gibbon 8s.

I also have access to a great woodworker/artisan who can help me build a kit but this will add to the price and turnaround time.

I'm currently using Wright AU/15 2A3 push/pull with Shindo Aurieges. Great setup that I will likely keep but since I'm using 2A3 tubes, it might be nice to try SET.
