Hi again hollowboy,

I am very interested in baffle shape. A large baffle (with or without a box) has a dramatic affect on the sound. Ideal shape for dispersion AND on axis response would be a sphere (maybe stretching to a point at the back like B&W speakers). Integrating more than one source can produce dispersion anomalies at the crossover frequency. I can see the sense in continuing a horn flair beyond 90degrees as seen in the Le'Cleach horn. Have you played with (Freeware) "The Edge" baffle diffraction simulator? also Xdir (thank-you Tolvan!) these programs are awsome, see link below.
