Thanks for the suggestions Russ. I was thinking 8K for the top of the SP12B because it's curve theoretically shows it going out to 13Khtz, although the stock EV X36 crossover was set to bring the T35 in at 3500 htz.
I have a couple of X36 crossover units to try, and obviously I have a lot more study work to do. No worries, it's all fun :)
I'll also seriously check out getting a spl meter. Radio Shack has one and Rives Audio has a CD for using it for speaker evaluations, maybe I'll give that a try.
