They finally arrived this past friday. I have been playing music ever since. I can tell it is going to take quite some time for them to break in, both the PHY driver and the cabinet.

There is no question buying them unheard was a significant risk. This being said, I am impressed with how natural they sound right out of the shipping container (plywood sarcophagus, really.) I am a happy camper. My gamble paid off.

The big change for me is going to be a new paradigm regarding amplification. I come from the bigger is better school, having needed lots of power for my previous choices in speakers. This is clearly no longer the case. My high power amp is no longer necessary and simply doesen't do these speakers justice. I have just ordered my first tube amp in 8 years, a 30 watt/channel OTL model. I know this will make and enormous difference in sound quality, even more fully exceeding my expectations.

I will keep everyone posted as things develop and my speakers break in.
