Some technical issues:
Mid/high section:
Mechanical mod'ed BMS 4592ND's coaxial compression driver applied to and dedicated horn flare with a 55 cm horn mouth optimised for maximum dispersion for bigger sweet point allocation, and point source dissipation pattern. Comes in any colour you like.
Frequency range filtered: -6 dB at 270 Hz - 22 kHz 0 dB at 15 degrees off axis.
Impedance 6- 9 Ohm AC
Efficiency 114db/w/m at 8 Ohm.
Max output: 138 dB RMS. 142 dB peak.Filtered acoustically according to a-factor SQRT2 24db LR minimum phase network. "One piston" even phase turn at all frequencies at all times. (Like a fullranger almost would do it, but cannot)
No peaks, no dips.
Minimum appliance of components to a degree where components parasiting starts to degrade sound quality.
Components: The best available.Bass section:
Acoustically totally timealigned to the mid/high section in any prefered listening position. Listening height would be from 75cm's to 110 cm's. All acoustically centers = same distance to your ears. (Was implemented by means of swinging the speakers left/right + more)
Cabinet in light weight veneer plywood. Comes in several veneers according to order spec.
Multi-cellular internal structure to cancel enveloped cabinet sound (*Resonance terminator*).
Quasi 6 port BR/slotted back tuning on the rear side of the cabinet.
ISO BARIK like magnet to diaphragm customized 2 x 15" neodymium drivers w. underhanged VC for minimum distortion and max homogeneous flux intensity.
80 cm horn mouth. 30 cm throat.
The horn is adapted in order to merge the character of the sound from the bass to the mid/high section. Not for amplification reasons. The amplitude peak appearing from this horn is removed in the filter section, which is a line filter.Frequency range filtered: - 3db at 25 Hz - 270 Hz - 6db.
Impedance 8 - 8 Ohm AC
Efficiency 106db/w/m at 8 Ohm.
Max output: 123 dB RMS. 126 dB peak. (Limited by the built in 30 W@8 Ohm amp. in the stand. Room gain approx +12 db/oct from x-over point dependent on speaker placement.)With the implied built in bass amps, this is the max output as it is today = unbearable loud...no distortion..reproduction.
I die when I hit the 7 watt's peak.... If others can survive is a ?
The stand:
Implies a line filter before amp a-factor SQRT2 24db LR acoustical.
The line filter which includes an attenuator for the amp. is feed by the output terminals of the main amplifier, whatever that might be.
The built in 30 W 8 Ohm 60W @ 4 Ohm chipamp is specially developed for driving bass's with ultralow distortion and vice grip flash fast reproduction.Design features:
The main cabinet is able to swing 90 degrees left/right for optimum listening height.
