Paully,

I had a pair of Chorous II's and an Academy center channel for many years and liked all 3 of them. The Chorous II's were 101db/1watt/1meter. Make sure you upstream is clean, else the warts will shine right through. I had a receiver that only the Chorous II's would expose its noise. An average 92db speaker (or lower) hid the receiver's noise. Ended up having to use a separate amp to get rid of the noise.
