I haven't owned both, only heard them so I think the original poster would do well to listen to your advice. What do you think of the Chorus II which is supposed to be the Cornwall's successor (prior to them bringing it back)? Might be a moot point since I have a pair on the way, just curious. I would have given serious consideration to Altec but they are just too big and they are pretty expensive. Never did compare the size between the two, it might not be as big a size differential as I suppose. The Chorus II were inexpensive so I said what the heck.
