Karlson K15 Kabinet with 2x 8"?

I always wondered, it looks like there's enough room on the baffleboard of a K15 for one to use a pair of 8" drivers instead of a single 15. mainly this was an idea I came up with when I noticed the high sensitivity and low Qts of the Fostex FE206...what might happen if someone used two of these side by side in a single cabinet? diffraction problems?
