Personally, I would just as soon have Romy here too.

However, I think people have the right to use their private property as they see fit. Somewhere along the line, somebody owns the hardware and software that we are using to communicate here, and whoever that is has a right to decide how their property shall be used. Whether directly or via delegated authority, the owner is exercising his property rights in giving Romy the boot.

One compromise solution might be if people had the ability to filter out comments from posters they don't care to read. Such message boards do exist. Obviously implementing a feature like that here would require $ome work on $omebody'$ part . . .
