I share your thoughts on Romy - I actually usually read his posts - he is very good at running down other peoples suggestions and systems but there is very little substance from which one can gain a better understanding of audio .
Some of the posters that come here ( I think of Paul Joppa and Bruce Edgar among a number of others ) share freely of their abundant knowledge - never denigrate anyone else's level of understanding - give anyone a hand up wherever they are . I accept Romy has a good level of knowledge and an evolved system - unfortunately he chooses not to help others achieve that level and that, sadly more than his rudeness, is why I would not miss his Presence. I think it ironic that although he calls us all morons whenever a post he is interested in pops up he responds fairly quickly - I suspect he spends a fair amount of time mixing with morons !!! .
