I have been experimenting with the digital crossover in my Tact 2.2x between subwoofer and single driver Lowther. Crossover looks like it should be 110Hz, 2nd order on left side, 4th on right due to asymetric room. The problem is the Tact 2.2x delays are different for LP and HP (I know it shouldn't be but it is true). With the same crossover point and filter type the LP signal lags behind the HP anywhere from 3-20ms depending on the slope and Fc, so one must delay the HP signal.
I would like to measure the actual delay the LP filter is causing. I have ETF5 which can measure delays for high frequencies but not for lows.
Does anyone know any methods of measuring the delays caused by LP filters?
PS I tried inverting the sub polarity and then measuring for the maximum dip at Fc by adjusting the delay but this is just too tedious if one wants to experiment.
