I just got myself a pair of Pi one speaker shipped by Wayne (check out the Pi speaker forum). It's sound is very clean driven by a 300B SET monoblock. Overall performance is very respectable for the price. The sound is getting smoother after 20 hours of playing and it should improve more. I like the idea of using no crossover and budget drivers making it a fun speaker to own or DIY. If you talk to Wayne, he can send you the plan for free. If you DIY I think the price is even < than $250.
