I would appreciate opinions about the long-term reliability of the SCD-1 from those who have used the SCD-1 (or 777) for more than 1 year.Do you occassionally experience random lock-ups, failures to read disc, Skipping problems etc. with your SCD-1's?
I know that a few (like Jazz Inmate) have had motors that needed replacement, but I wonder if those are the exception and not the trend.
I'm keen on a machine that is utterly solid and reliable.
Thanks!
