I heard his trio a few months ago at an intimate (small) jazz club.

Not only was McBride fabulous, but his pianist and drummer were amazing.

Having heard some of the "greatest names" in jazz over the years, I never expected the session to be so wonderful.

Probably the best live jazz I've heard.
