One intangible, but very important aspect....

Is Oppo's legendary after sale support. My experiences with their support have always been very satisfactory and I've experienced, and read about, them going well out of their way to satisfy a customer.

I lost my BDP-93's remote control during a move. I contacted Oppo's Customer Support in an attempt to purchase another remote. They would NOT let me buy one, imagine that!! Instead, 3 days later, a brand new remote was delivered to my doorstep for absolutely no charge. That, my friends, is GREAT Customer Support! Oppo will have my business as long as they remain solvent...
