I just looked at the marantz 7 mods by underwood. They look useful, but do not appear to do anything to the clock or the output. In other words, you are stuck with the stock output module. Again, a look at http://m.musictechnology.com (bill thalman) shows a difference in applying money to the clock and output. Simple things like fuses, power cords and isolation are critical as well.
