I can listen to CD, any Download, SACD, Cassette, BluRay Audio and LP.
They all sound good, I'm glad I've got 'em.
I don't buy CDs anymore, but I've got lots, more than I want to Copy to the Computer.
Some things I like more than others, but at this point, it's all good.
I was enjoying a George Shearing Trio CD yesterday on Telarc, really nice, I'd forgotten just how nice!
I Could convert it to DSD, but it's fine as is.
My Systems are:
Mac Mc 275/C2500 amp and Pre/Dac, Sony Hap Z1, Sony/VSE 5400, Sony XA7 as Transport,
Project Xpression TT, Grado Sonata Cart, Nak Cassette, KEF 104.2 w/new Bass Drivers and Tweeters.
TV/Music/Computer System:
Marantz PM 15S2 Int Amp, Mytek 192/DSD Dac, Marantz 7007 BluRay/SACD,
IMac 10.9.5 w/ Audirvana Plus, Korg Audiogate, Audioquest Dragonfly 2, Panasonic Plasma and Directv Genie Box Coax-Out.
Mostly Clarus Crimson ICs and Clarus Aqua PCs.
KEF R 300 Speakers.
If you like something different, that's fine with me!
Will be trying an Audioquest Carbon Firewire800-400 cable when it arrives.
