This is my only beef with Oppo. Its CD players (105, BDP83SE, 980H, at least) will not allow the automatic insertion of track markers into copies made by a TASCAM CD-RW700. Oppo freely admits this. Every other CD player I've owned -- and even units as elderly as Pioneer Laser Disk players -- do this automatically, but not Oppo. They are "looking into" this anomaly, supposedly. Your only option with an Oppo (mine at least) is to manually insert track markers, which requires listening all the way through the disc to be copied.
I don't know for a fact but would assume the same would apply to digitally copying any other type of disc. Or analog copying for that matter, which never did work with my Tascam as far as automatic track marker insertion is concerned.
