RE: Disclaimer from Sony S1/Z1


I have no issues at all with how the Sony sounds. It is outstanding and I'm talking about their entry model HAP-S1 with the built-in integrated amp.

They may have made some improvements to their software. I thought the early product was a bit rough around the edges and not quite ready for prime time. That may have changed.

That would be kind of cool to put a SSD inside the Sony if it can partition and format a completely blank disk, and reinstall it's own software. Otherwise, you might need to figure out what filesystem they use or somehow clone the HDD to the new SSD.
