The first time it was the DVD laser that failed. That is, if I can get it fixed. Esoteric now shows Integra as their U.S. distributer, not sure I understand that! I have all of the components (except maybe the preamp) for a pretty good stereo system - vinyl, SACD, etc. - laying around unused. I just can't see it as part of my 5.1 AV system going forward. Actually I like the DV-50 with DVD-A even better than SACD, but it's a darned good player.
