Using an Oppo 105 D with an Anthem AVM-20?

New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

Obviously I'll need to send video directly to the TV via HDMI. Any hidden gotchas here using a pre-HDMI pre-pro? With DVDs I might want to process the sound in the Anthem via coax. Hi Rez material would be 2 channel balanced or 6 channel single ended from the Oppo's analog outputs. I'm thinking the sound might lag a little compared to my Esoteric DV-50, but I think it's losing the SACD laser.
