Tks, Oldmkvi! My reply to Ted, above, may help to put things in better perspective.
Some of the material that I would convert to DSD already is PCM 192/24. In this PCM manner, it sounds great on the audio PC. OTOH, most of the material is DSF/DSD. So, less music is harmed if DSD is chosen for all that is sent to the DVDs (for this particular event).
I really wish things could be easily set up for my audio PC to do the work for him. One day, I am sure...with voice command like in Star Trek..."Computer!". ["Yes, David." -- 'Damn it, HAL, I said Star Trek!']
Anyway, at least the SACD player is willing to help. He can use all my SACDs plus hi-rez (native or converted DSF) DVDs, and the player responds in one single SACD undisturbed mode.
